Stalwart members of the Festival City Rotary Club MS Walkers, once again ventured out in the rugged terrain surrounding Lake Victoria in support of Multiple Sclerosis research on April 19th. Members of the intrepid crew were (L-R) Jennifer White, Jack White-Christman, Brad Braekevelt, Carolyn Dingman, Dianne Chisholm and Kent Chisholm. The team raised over $7,600 in the walkathon, with $700 from our club members.

All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser - 6 April 2009
The Rotary Club of Festival City Stratford and the Black Angus Restaurant located at 805 Downie Street present an "All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner" on Monday April 6, 2009. Proceeds from the dinner will go towards helping children attend school in El Salvador. Tickets are available from any Festival City Rotary Club members for $15.00 a seat.

Bill Gates Announces $255 Million Grant to Rotary to Fight Polio

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded US$255 million to Rotary International in the global effort to eradicate polio, bringing the total committed by Rotary and the Gates Foundation to $555 million.
